We all knew. We all just waited around for the old “confirm” tag to be thrown on it. Ashlee and Pete Wentz have confirmed that they are expecting their first child.
I guess the rule “wait for your third month” got to the couple and they didn’t want to jinx baby Wentz.
The confirmation came through Pete Wentz’s Web site, Friends or Enemies.

The new Mrs. Pete Wentz, the former Ashlee Simpson, will now forever be known as Ashlee Wentz. Yes, single Simpson officially changed to married Wentz.
Mrs. Wentz feels strongly that when a man and woman marry the new wife should take the name of her husband. OK. Tradition is good, but in 2008, tradition has changed.

OK, so any dibs on how long the wedded bliss will last? Ashlee Simpson, 23, and Pete Wentz, 28, tied the knot on Saturday with family and close friends surrounding the couple. And OMFG - who the hell married them - pimping daddy Joe did.

Will her marriage last longer than Jessica’s to hottie Nick Lachey? One will never know, but I am sure that the dollar pools are already going around the water coolers.
Ashley Simpson, 23, and Pete Wentz, 28, the hottie bassist from group sensation Fall Out Boy have announced they are happily engaged. No date has yet been set.
