The buzz around all of the celebrity gossip blogs today is why Brad Renfro was left out of the Oscar memoriam montage? Hmm… well I sure as hell don’t believe the lame ass excuse the editors are giving for having left him out. Honestly, he seems to be the only one left out.

Funny how some of those remembered had two or three shots, and others were left with one quick focus of their picture. Could they not have given him a one quick look? Obviously not. I mean honestly, he didn’t die of natural causes like most of those, and unlike Heath’s accidental overdoes of the wrong combination of prescription medications, Brad died quietly, a victim of a heroine overdoes. Guess that wouldn’t look good for Oscar to remember.

Oh, the reason behind not having him in the montage, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences explained this in a statement, “There are too many people to include everyone. We tried to represent all the branches of the Academy.” Guess you would have had time had you not done stupid ass things like little montages to binoculars and nightmares. Hello?

So, guess this is notice to all of those actors and actresses out there - if you know you will die this year, make sure it is for a good reason so that you can be included in the memoriam montage for 2008, otherwise you won’t be remembered. Pretty sad, but that’s Hollywood.

Is Britney the only person to blame for her recent mental collapse? Not completely. There are several reasons why I try to no longer write about Britney, one - regardless the points it will win me in visitors it has just become depressing to watch and two - maybe I am contributing to her downfall. When I say “I” I am meaning all of the people that write the lash outs to condemn the person she is, but continue to do it for better rank within their networks, both TV and internet.

Yes, rank is important, don’t get me wrong. I am like the majority of the media; the better my numbers are the better rank I have, the better you are viewed by viewers and more viewers will seek you out. It is a viscous cycle we are all a part of. What do you think sweeps week is for? Well, this year of course sweeps won’t be that great because the writers are still picketing, but you get my point. The thing that I am really taking issue with is seeing Britney’s recent struggles and breakdown, she has fallen and the media welcomes it, we are almost wanting it to happen for more to talk about.

Do you think the media has in some small way helped push Britney’s breakdown as far as it has gone? This is all opinion here, no right or wrong, but I do believe in some small way the large parties to her fall are, of course herself, her family, and the media. I think Britney thrives on the attention, just like a child does, regardless if it is good or bad - it was attention. She loves the reactions from people in general. It is that reaction that grabbed the attention of the media and that was all she wrote. The media capitalized on her impending downfall.

Britney doesn’t have to behave the way she does… we all know that, I believe she knows that. After acting wild and crazy for awhile, she wears the why-do-I-care-what-they-think attitude daily now. And why should she care? She is Britney Spears after all. The media loves the sensationalism she brings to their reports, crazy headline after crazy headline and people want to know what stupid thing Brit is doing now. We all completely buy into it; her celebrity, her idiot remarks, and dumb interviews. Every one of us at some point wants to smack her every time she chews a piece of chewing gum.

Her family has watched her go down hill, right along with the rest of us. I honestly believe her parents should have stepped in months ago, way before the rest of us came to the realization that she was slowly losing her children. Well, she’s lost them now, where was her family before it happened? I have hardly heard anything regarding her father. It has always been Lynne Spears this, Lynne Spears that. Jamie Spears, Brit’s father, has just recently exploded on to the scene just in the nick of time. Thankfully he is has been placed as her temporary guardian over her financial affairs along with Britney’s legal counsel. This is what she needs, for someone to finally smack her and wake her up. I just hope he was the right person for it - better then her mom that is for sure.

The good news… Brit must stay at UCLA for an extended period now to have consistent psych care. Sam Lufti is out of the picture for now with a restraining order against him. Dad is in charge. I truly hope that Brit receives the care she needs to find her true self again. Hopefully it is not too late for her to live a full life, healthy, and with her children. I know we all go through issues like this, I am just thankful that my issues aren’t posted all over magazines and the news.

When it comes to Britney, I just don’t bitch because it is a waste of my time.  She does the same sh*t, over and over again, just a different day.  Well, today my silence ends.  I wish somebody would just take hold of her face, look into her eyes and scream - WAKE UP!  Someone, get into her head.

Constantly missing time with her sons, not showing up to court dates, partying when she should be showing a better side of herself, she has more than spiraled out of control, she has gone off the deep, dark end, never to return from the abyss.

I will admit I was pulling for her at first.  I thought she was just going through a phase after her divorce.  Well, she took “phase” to a whole new level.  Out with this guy then that guy, drugs, drinking, shaving her head; where are her parents, her sister, and her friends?  Why aren’t they intervening?

What set me off today was her missed deposition because of an illness.  Whatever!  I am a mom and my kids come first.  If I am dying, I am still going to show up; my kids are my priority.  Brit has no respect for mother hood, her kids, or for herself.  Oh boy… it is a sad day when someone thinks that K-Fed is a better parent.

Well, all that is left to say is - Grow the f**k up and realize you have two kids that need you!  Someone, PLEASE rip the stupid, freaking pink wig off her head and throw her ass into rehab.
